From Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, David was raised in Michigan and Europe. He holds a Master’s degree in Business from Penn State Harrisburg. He has also studied at Winterthur Museum Winter Institute and has taken specialty courses in appraisals and decorative arts at New York University and Georgetown University. David is a certified appraiser and licensed auctioneer.
David Cordier currently writes “At Home with Antiques” for the Harrisburg Patriot News “At Home” magazine. From 2002 through 2006, Mr. Cordier also wrote a bi-weekly feature column “Eye on Antiques” for the Patriot News that focused on antiques and related events in central Pennsylvania.
David Cordier is a Leadership Harrisburg alumni, a senior member of the Harrisburg Kiwanis Club and has served as a member of the Camp Hill Market Street Design Review Committee. He also volunteers at the Cumberland and Dauphin County Historical Societies.
